“Washington feels like the capital of an occupied country,” filled with “institutional and administrative chaos; our military chain of command is compromised; people around the elected president feel impelled to act above the law and remove papers from his desk. The mechanisms meant to protect the state from an incompetent or dictatorial president are not being used because people in power no longer believe in them, or are afraid to use them. Washington feels like the capital of a state where the legal order has collapsed.”

“It’s time for you to expel President Trump from the White House.” Republican “party loyalty, if unchecked, could mean the United States finds itself in another war. But this time, we could suffer irreparable harm in the form of a nuclear attack on our soil…. Republicans, now is the time to stand your ground against Trump. Protect our country by starting the process to remove Trump from office.”

China is responsible for “the most aggressive effort by any country to steal secrets from some of the most prominent and successful American companies.” Despite the indictment of five PLA members, China’s massive economic espionage continues. “China, as a rising economic power, believes that ferreting out the business secrets of foreign companies is a national security interest. One day, however, it will have its own pathbreaking achievements and will want to protect them.”
