“Not content to steer the ship of state, our president apparently wants to run the ship of commerce, too. Literally. The entire Fortune 500.” President Trump thinks “he is the C.E.O. of Everything…. In ripping up numerous business regulations, Donald Trump seems intent on replacing them with himself.” This “is bad for corporations, consumers and capitalism. Please just run the executive branch, Mr. President, and let real executives run the businesses of America.”

“Every reader of Institutional Investor has suffered the indignities of La Guardia, JFK, or Newark airports — and most of them clicked on this feature by Leanna Orr explaining why U.S. airports are so very, very bad.” Not only was the article on the deplorable state of U.S. airports the magazine’s most-read article in 2017, it appears to be Institutional Investor’s most read article of all time.

LA Times (June 10)
We believe Donald Trump’s “election and continuing tenure as commander in chief are bad for the nation. We see no evidence that he will grow into the job. We look forward to the day when he is no longer president.” Still, it is not yet “time to draw up articles of impeachment.” Barring “some intervening revelation of intolerable action on the president’s part,” the investigations should be completed before beginning the “move toward impeachment.”
